Much easier to deal with than the dealership. They texted me updates on the status of my repair and were very responsive to any questions I had. I also feel that they were honest and upfront about needed repairs and their cost, and that they provided me with the information I needed to make an informed decision about what repairs and maintenance items I wanted to do now vs. waiting until later.

Wow. From the moment I met John I started to learn a lot about my car. My AC was not working so on the phone he had told me to just stop by so he can take a look. He had some suggestions and I decided to make an appointment. The service was awesome but the report you get after the visit is even better. You can also see your car service history online and keep records there. Top of the line service. I would continue to buy Hondas just to take them here for service.

John goes out of his way to provide excellent service. I usually always end up leaving knowing something new about my car. He gives recommendations for service without being pushy, and has the bunch other recommendations made by Express service providers. Now I can't imagine taking my car anywhere else! Funny enough, knowing he only specializes in certain car types makes me want to be more brand loyal to Honda and Toyota. I highly recommend the Japanese auto repair to anyone who is looking for a long-term mechanic.

John with Omaha Japanese Auto Repair is great and I can’t say enough about him. Approximately 10 years ago I had him replace the clutch on my 1994 Acura Integra and some other small jobs. Always did outstanding work and at a fair and reasonable price. Fast forward 10 years...The starter in my 07 Honda Civic was acting up. So, I called John and he said bring it in anytime. So, I brought it in around 1:00 and later that day I got a text from him at 5:00 saying it was all done. Again, outstanding service and fair and reasonable price. THANKS John!

If you're looking for a place you can trust is going to look out for you and not their own pocket book by suggesting unnecessary repairs then take your cars here. I've been taking both of our cars here for about 3 years now after another other highly recommended shop near midtown tried to have my wife spend hundreds of dollars on repairs her car did not need. I grew up in a small town and this place has that small town vibe without the dealer prices. We are very happy to have found Johns shop. Thanks again for working around our schedules and keeping us safe!
